Universal Wildcard Rules

Please note: You must be 14+ to be legible to compete

Your Wildcard must be uploaded and public on YouTube.
Your video must be recorded in 480p quality minimum.
Your video must be recorded in a Landscape format.
Your Face must be fully visible throughout the duration of your Wildcard.
Mixing and Mastering is allowed but we may need access to the raw audio in some cases.
You must start your Wildcard with: “My name is (Insert stage name), this is my Wildcard for the Motion Beatbox Battle 2026 (insert your category).
Your Wildcard video must have “Motion Beatbox Battle 2026 Wildcard (Insert Category Here)” At either the start or the end of the video title.
Examples:
Song name - Artist name (Motion Beatbox Battle 2026 (Insert Category) Wildcard)
OR
(Motion Beatbox Battle 2026 (Insert Category) Wildcard) Song name - Artist name
In the description of your video you must list all of your equipment that you used and if applicable the people who mixed, mastered and edited your Wildcard.

Examples:

Audio Equipment: Phones built in microphone.

Video Equipment: Phones built in camera.

Mastered by: Myself

Edited by: Myself

Your Wildcard must be anywhere between 1.45 - 2.00 minutes, it is up to your personal choice, as long as it is between those times it will be an acceptable entry.

Your video must be one complete take from start to finish, no cuts of any kind.
Solo: EQ, Compression (including Multiband Compression), and reverb is allowed.
Noise removers to remove hissing and humming sounds from the audio background is allowed.

Your wildcard can be anywhere between 3.5-4 minutes long anywhere in between is fine and will be judged.
Single device only, either:
RC505 MK1/2
Cables are permitted in order to unlock another level of the Loopstation if desired
All inputs into the Loopstation must be produced by only your body/mouth
Pre records are not permitted
We may need a Raw file of either your audio and video recordings, so please keep them saved in case of this.
In your wildcard we will need to be able to see the wires plugged into your Loopstation in order to assure fair play.
